One of this summer highlights was the 2nd International Urban Sketching Symposium, in Lisbon, Portugal, a gathering of more than 200 sketchers from all over the world, where I had the opportunity to sketch next to a great bunch of artists who's work I had admired and follow for years.
As a participant, I had to choose 5 workshops out of 45 (a difficult task since all of them were amazing opportunities) and these were:
Una de las principales actividades de este verano fue el 2do Simposio Internacional de Dibujantes Urbanos, donde se reunieron más de 200 dibujantes de todo el mundo en Lisboa, Portugal, donde tuve la oportunidad de dibujar al lado de grandes artistas cuyo trabajo admiro y sigo desde hace muchos años.
Como participante, debía seleccionar solo 5 talleres entre los 45 ofertados (una tarea difícil ya que todos eran increíbles oportunidades), así que los escogidos fueron:
First day in the morning: Movement, with instructors Eduardo Salavisa and Monica Cid.

In the afternoon of the first day: Stories of the Square, with Melanie Reim and Angela Luzia.
Por la tarde del primer día: Historias de la plaza, con Melanie Reim y Angela Luzia.
Morning of the second day: Unfinished Business, with Nina Johansson and Jose Louro.
En la mañana del segundo día: Negocios inconclusos, con Nina Johansson y Jose Louro.
Afternoon, second day: Environments, with Norberto Dorantes y Mário Linhares.
Tarde del segundo día: Ambientes, con Norberto Dorantes y Mário Linhares.
Last day, only one session in the morning: Contrast, with Asnee Tasna and João Catarino.
Último día, solo una sesión en la mañana: Contrastes, con Asnee Tasna y João Catarino.
